Andrew Negus - Around the World : The Wild, The Weird and the Wonderful.
Andrew is a retired history teacher and an around the world backpacker, a Blue Badge guide for central Southern England and a local historian. Today's talk includes a journey on the Trans-Siberian Express to Beijing, inspired by Rupert the Bear; a robbery in Warsaw, train wheels removed and sharing Russian hospitality and drinking habits. Moscow is a wonderful surprise, if a little scary at first, whilst China is most surprising and causes some re-evaluation of Rupert's glowing picture of the country!
