Pétanque, also called Boules, is an outdoor game where players toss boules (hollow steel balls the size of an orange) as close as possible to a little wooden target ball or jack. It can be played as Singles, Doubles or Triples. It is easy to play and benefits hand/eye co-ordination, general fitness and is a very sociable activity.
