Curious about Life's Big Questions? We are a friendly philosophical discussion group based on the Cafe Philo model that operates around the world.
What does it do? We steer away (but not always completely) from current affairs. Instead we choose and discuss topics that have challenged both our and many previous generations. For example, What is free will? What does justice mean? How truthful should we be?
For further details, see Café Philosophique Wikipedia page.
Below is a guide to the topics we intend to discuss in 2026.
DATE - DISCUSSION TOPIC

JUN - Can democracy be a tyrant?
JUL - Does government have a role in the health of the population?
AUG - Is anybody truly altruistic?
SEP - Why do we search for life in the universe?
OCT - Can speech ever be free?
NOV - Is justice a man-made thing?
DEC - What are the differences and similarities between men and women?
