Volunteers thank you BBQ 2022

1st July 2022 - Denvilles Club

The 1st of July saw the 2022 annual “thank you” event for volunteers held at the Denvilles Club in Havant. Thankfully the weather was perfect and we were able to take full advantage of the lovely grounds and premises of what used to be Denvilles House (the panelling in what was the Drawing Room is believed to have come from RMS Mauritania). Over 60 Group Co-ordinators enjoyed a lovely afternoon, along with the numerous other volunteers who beaver away in the background – often hidden from view but without whom we would find it difficult to function. There was plenty of entertainment in the form of live music and various activities such as Croquet, Tunnel Ball, Horse Racing, Hoopla and even some dancing. All accompanied by a delicious barbecue. A good time was had by all as you can see from the photos below.
