This group started in June, 2021.
Tai Chi is a series of movements and poses that originated in the Orient. It is a system of self-development with relaxed, fluid movements and recognised as being good for stress, balance, blood pressure and general health.
The group follows Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan 88 Form, also known as 108 Form. Each class begins with Qigong exercises and then continues to practice the Tai Chi moves, working through the Form.
It is a meditative form of exercise to which practitioners attribute physical and spiritual health benefits.
Some studies have found the practice to reduce stress and relieve certain ailments.
Some prior experience of Yang style Tai Chi is needed in order to join this group - unfortunately, it is not suitable for beginners or those new to Tai Chi.
