Here is my selection all acrylic which is my favourite medium at the moment:
Acrylic on stretched canvas. This painting of Sandringham was completed for my mother in law to remind her of her late husband and the trips they so enjoyed together.
Acrylic on stretched canvas. This painting of Chillon castle on lake Geneva was presented to friends of mine who used to holiday there. I painted it from a puzzle I completed.
Acrylic on stretched canvas. Portsmouth harbour at dusk.. is a favourite of mine and one of my early paintings. I loved the colours of picture which inspired me to paint it.
Acrylic on stretched canvas. ‘Young love’ I was browsing the internet one day and my eye caught this couple in a photo.. I could not resist the temptation to paint them. The canvas is quite large, 2’x2’. My son-in-law has it now as it reminded him of his grandparents.
Acrylic on stretched canvas. ‘Sidmouth from Connaught Gardens’ my home town. Painted it for a good friend for his 60th birthday who actually took the picture this was painted from.
Acrylic on stretched canvas. ‘The Flying Scotsman’ for the wife of a late friend whose had a passion for steam engines. Painted in his memory.

During lockdown I have experimented with different mediums and tried various styles but my preference is Pastel painting as shown in this gallery. As most people, I have been walking everyday and my garden is looking fantastic, so not much time for art!

I Am enjoying walks in our astonishing countryside. Been finding lots of jobs and gardening to do in lockdown. I love watercolour because it has a mind of of its own which can produce beautiful effects if you encourage it to go along with your ideas.

I do enjoy working in watercolour, especially when painting flowers. I find watercolour gives a delicate fluid feel to the paintings. I use pastel when painting dogs and cats as it is easier for detail on fur than watercolour.

I prefer water colours and have been on lockdown alone. Very strange and quite lonely 😔 xx

I joined my lovely art group with increasing memory problems and, later, on-going health issues. The group have given constant support and made me believe in myself again! Medium....a rather heavy handed watercolour efforts!

I enjoy working in watercolours for the delicacy this medium provides. It presents it's challenge as many a times the outcome can be disappointing. Trying to perfect is a goal I am working towards. The Dolphins and the Daffodils are two examples.
Third is the field mouse I tackled using coloured pencils. A medium that I have seen a few artists using recently. I have used coloured pencils as a child and later with my children and latterly with my grandchildren. But seeing established artists using it now inspired me to work with it in this piece.

I have been really blessed to be GC for Painting Group 2 which is such a lovely, talented and friendly group. We have kept in touch during lockdown through our whats app group and emails. We have also been tackling different art challenges, our latest being to research favourite artists and try to paint in their styles. We have looked at future meetings and changed our venue to a larger hall so we will be better able to socially distance when we return.
Personally, I like trying different mediums but my favourite is pastels. I find they are especially useful for animal's fur. I am working from home during lockdown but like most people have been gardening, surprising parts of the house by cleaning them and enjoying some walks.

I love the freedom and surprises that watercolour brings and am happy experimenting. Although I am keen again now, lockdown hasn’t done me any favours as I’ve lacked impetus and inspiration. I have, however, painted my sheds beautifully!

I enjoy painting local scenes in watercolour and acryllics. Have been in local walks whilst in lockdown, finding fresh inspiration for my paintings.

My favourite medium is soft pastels although that's not necessarily reflected in these paintings. I also like painting or drawing portrait. During lockdown I'm afraid art has been sacrificed to gardening and trying to keep in touch with everyone!!

Water colour I find is the best for me. In lockdown it's gardening cooking and playing in my workshop.
