Bus trippers old and new gathered for the first outing of 2022. A treeful of starlings would struggle to outdo the chatter of a bus full of Bus trippers. Meeting new friends and catching up with old ones, it's sometimes almost irrelevant where you're going. Not on this occasion. The Mary Rose Exhibition is truly awesome even on a second or third visit. Having a guided tour, at least once, is a must - even in a large group when it was sometimes impossible to both see and hear about an object at the same time. Another visit to this continually evolving exhibition is already pencilled in for 2025. The outing was rounded off with a light lunch, and more chat, at the rather unexpectedly nice Ship & Castle pub just across the road from the Dockyard.
