Welcome to Board Games 2
Our small and friendly group meet every 3rd Monday of the month throughout the year (except August); tea and biscuits provided. At the moment we try our hand at Scrabble, Rummikub and Boggle but we are always open to new ideas.
Those of you who are not familiar with Rummikub, it is a numbers game played with tiles instead of cards. You play your tiles as you would with the card game Rummy. Rules are very simple to pick up and as you progress it becomes quite strategic and tactical but great fun.
We are more than happy to introduce a few cards games into the curriculum, maybe Rummy, Newmarket or EVEN SNAP.
Maybe someone has a board game hidden away in their cupboard which they haven’t played for ages? Well they just bring it along to one of our meetings to relive and share old memories of days spent around the living room table.
