Membership

Waterlooville u3a members have been learning, staying active and having fun since 2006 - experiencing every aspect of what it means to have a positive later life. We draw upon our knowledge and experience to learn from each other for pleasure - learning is its own reward; and it's all voluntary, local, social, friendly and low cost. Join us and make the most out of life.

We have two open general meetings most months, with a speaker, followed by tea, coffee and biscuits and the chance to socialise, meet old friends and make new ones.
We also arrange several social events during the year - quizzes, barn dances, beetle drives, skittles and more.

u3a is an excellent way of making friends and meeting people. By joining an activity group that interests you, you know that you're meeting people with a shared interest. Take a look at our Groups page to find a plethora of activity groups to choose from.
We operate a "first come, first served" waiting list for any groups that are full; and if the activity that you would like to join doesn't exist, we can help you to start one!

More information can be found in our Membership Information leaflet. In order to attend any of our activity groups you need to become a member of Waterlooville u3a. All we ask is a small donation to our charity to cover our administration costs.
